2022/23 Twilight Champion
Congratulations to the Twilight Challenge Champion Ben Spencer. After a number of washouts and delays, including last week’s rescheduled final, Ben defeated Leam Doughty 2&1 on a perfect twilight night for golf!

MENS MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 DRAW

Firstly, congratulations to all that qualified into the Match Play rounds to be conducted over the next few weeks.
Due to some unanticipated issues, including challenges to our staffing with the current wave of COVID – which has also had an impact on members – we advise a small change to the Match Play schedule.
Essentially, we have been able to push it back by one week, without any significant impact on other events. The new schedule is as follows:
- Round 1 to be completed by 19 Feb
- Round 2 to be completed by 26 Feb
- Round 3 to be completed by 12 March
- Finals on 19 March
Please reach out to John, Josh and the team in the Golf Shop to assist in the setting up of matches. Of course, if you are playing against someone you know please have a chat with them to agree on a time. While playing on Saturdays is preferred you can play on another mutually acceptable day – please keep the Golf Shop informed of any arrangements you make.
We apologise for any inconvenience but are confident that this change will enable the championship to proceed largely as planned.

New Golf Clinics Available Now
Golf Professional James Briggs will be hosting a number of short game clinics in the coming weeks providing the opportunity for members and visitors to sharpen up their short game skills in a group environment. Attend as a once off or book in to multiple sessions! Each clinic is dedicated to a different area of short game including:
