October Wine Club News.
We had a great night for the Russell Hopton Trophy which was won by John Matthews and presented by Helen Hopton. 38 members attended with tastings and questions, a general knowledge questionnaire and beautiful supper prepared by Bec and staff. Thanks to everyone for a great night.
Three tables of members attended the annual Anniversary Dinner for the Chirnside Park Country Club. This night was made special with member Stuart Vawser receiving the Club person of the year and the 67th anniversary of our longest serving wine club members Bert and Joyce Patrick. Congratulations and wonderful achievement for two special people.
We are to have our Wine luncheon at Brumfield’s on 23rd November, this is a great venue, lovely owners and delicious wines.
Don’t forget our annual Christmas Luncheon on Sunday 3rd November at the Country Club this is for members and friends.
