CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS UPDATE – NOVEMBER 2025
MEN’S AND WOMEN’S PAIRS
Round 1 of the Men’s and Women’s pairs event was held on Sunday 16 November 2025 in very wet, trying conditions. In the Women’s match, Marl Williams & Cheryl Hudson won against Gladice Walton & Kathie Brown. The match between Inez McCabe & Alice Aumann and Sandie Paterson & Gail Kerr was postponed. In an exciting men’s match that went down to the last bowl, John McCabe & Chris Holloway defeated Stuart and Steve Patrick.
Round 2 of this event will be on Thursday 27 November starting at 10:00 am.

MIXED PAIRS
A reminder that Round 2 of the Mixed Pairs event will now take place on Sunday 30th November. A reminder that the draw is available here in PDF form
Come along and support your team mates who are playing on the various days.

MEN’S AND WOMEN’S PAIRS
Round 1 of this event is scheduled for this Sunday 16th November 2025. Don’t forget to be ready for a 10:15am rollup. Due to the odd number of men’s teams only one men’s match needs to be played this Sunday and that is John Moody and David Gamble Vs Stuart and Steve Patrick.
The women’s matches will be: Gladice Walton & Kathie Brown Vs Marl Williams & Cheryl Hudson and Inez McCabe & Alice Aumann Vs Sandie Paterson & Gail Kerr.
If any player has a problem with Sunday, please let us know asap.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS UPDATE – OCTOBER 2025
MIXED PAIRS
Round 1 of the mixed pairs was held on Thursday 23 October and 2 matches were played. Again, there was lots of good bowling to watch and thank you to the members and family who came to watch and support the bowlers. The team of Inez and John McCabe was successful against Neil Young and Gladice Walton and Kent and Di Davey were successful against Peter Beasley and Marl Williams.
Round 2 of the Mixed Pairs will be held on Sunday November 9 at the usual time of 10:15 am rollup, so please be there by just past 10 am so that we can start on time.
The draw will be available on Saturday in the Admin area of the club and a PDF version is attached below. Please let Val and Don know if you have any problems reading this attachment. If there is a problem with any team playing on the day, please let us know so that we can work out a solution.

A reminder that we would like more entries for the Men’s and Women’s Pairs as there are only a few entries in each one. The closing date for entries for these events is Tuesday 11 November. The first round of matches is to be played on Sunday 16, arriving at 10:00am for a 10:15am start.
Club members are encouraged to come along to support the players and the Club.
