The Chirnside Park Country Club Bowls Club has everything to offer potential new and experienced bowlers. Set in a quiet area, the clubhouse has beautiful surroundings overlooking the golf course and great views of the Yarra Valley and distant mountains. There are two full-size grass greens (38.5 x 38.5m) with 8 rinks on each green. One of our greens has been classed A1 by the RVBA Greens Committee.

The Bowls Club have their own clubhouse which is just on 10 years old and has every facility available, including licensed bar, excellent kitchen, able to serve bowlers their morning and afternoon teas and smorgasbord meals on special days. We even have an outdoor barbecue. Full meals are available at the Country Club's main Bistro.

Glass windows from floor to ceiling along the front of the clubhouse allow bowlers to watch the games in comfort on cold and windy days.The club has a number of accredited coaches who offer bowls coaching free of charge to new bowlers and bowlers needing coaching to improve their game. We also loan bowls to newcomers (free of charge) whilst learning the rudiments of the game.

To the men who wish to play RVBA pennant, we have sides in Division 2, Division 4 and Division 6. We also have a side in the Roamers competition. The Ladies VLBA Pennant, which is played on a Tuesday, has a B1 and a B3 side.

There are many Club Tournaments on offer at Chirnside: * Smorgasbord - 1st Sunday of each month except January through to April * Nominated Interclub Mixed Fours - 2nd Monday of each month * Open 2-4-2 Pairs - 2nd Friday of each month * Mixed Triples - 3rd Wednesday of each month except January * Mens Mixed Triples - 4th Monday of each month * Night Pennant - Tuesday nights * Social Bowls in "Mufti" clothing - Thursday nights * Social Indoor Carpet Bowls - Saturday and Tuesday nights during Winter * Indoor Bias Bowls Pennant (teams in A & B grades) - Wednesday nights during Winter We have an excellent number of sponsors who make it possible to give out cash and vouchers for prizes.
